This week we got to interview the one and only ElMariachi | ThePulse#8639!
1) Please tell us more about yourself! Where are you from? What are you passionate about?
Hey there! I’m Mario, 30 years old, I was born in Venezuela, grew up in Germany and Brazil, and I am currently living in Chile! I have 3 nationalities, and answering “where are you from?” is still a challenge for me! I studied Business and Film in Berlin, and I work creating Online Events for an Australian IT company.
I’m passionate about languages, people, self-improvement, film, music, and learning. As Jim Kwik says, learning is the ultimate superpower, so I believe that by getting better at learning, one gets better at most other things.
2) What first brought you to Impact Theory?
I actually got to Impact Theory through the crypto space by watching a video that listed the top upcoming NFT projects (that was back in September 2021). ITFK grabbed my attention because of its scope, ambition and value proposal, so I jumped in and became a Key Holder. Afterwards, I learned about Growth Mindset and started this wonderful journey within the IT community, including ITU.
3) As one of our most active community members, what encourages you to stay?
The people, no doubt about it. I’ve met some extraordinary people during my time here, and I truly admire their commitment to the community, to learn more and to keeping moving forward. It’s incredibly uplifting and encouraging, and I really didn’t expect to find this when I first bought my Founder’s Key.
4) What are you most excited about for the future of IT (short term & long term)? What projects are you most looking forward to, and why?
Short term, I’m most excited about the upcoming Avatar project. I think that it’s going to be an absolute game changer! Long term, I’m so excited to see any of the IT projects on one of the world’s leading streaming platforms, such as Netflix. That would be a dream come true! (All Systems Go?!)
5) What’s one thing you’ve learned in life that you wish everyone knew?
You have the power to change your mind. You have the power to change the way you perceive things, how you think about them, how you communicate them to others. You have the potential to be exceptional, regardless of the field. You can and will be an exceptional athlete, friend, business person, parent, or whatever else you regard as valuable if you are ready to commit to the process and obsess about becoming who you are meant to be.
