Learn how to transfer multiple POAPs at once

In the past, it could be quite frustrating to transfer multiple POAPs (Proof of Attendance Protocol) to another wallet as each one would require its own transaction.
Now with uNFT, users are able to transfer as many POAPs as they’d like with just a single transaction.
Below, we’ll demonstrate how you can do this in a few simple steps.

1. Connect your wallet to the xDai Network

If you’re just transferring POAPs on mainnet, you can skip this step.
By default, POAPs are minted on xDai so we’ll need to add the xDai RPC in order to make any transaction on that network.
This process will be different depending on which wallet you use but should be fairly ubiquitous in its implementation.
For this demonstration, I’ll be using Metamask.

Open up your MetaMask browser extension or app and click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Navigate through the menu : Settings -> Networks -> Add Network

Now enter the following information:

Network Name: Gnosis Chain

New RPC URL: https://rpc.gnosischain.com

Chain ID: 100

Symbol: xDai

Block Explorer URL: https://blockscout.com/xdai/mainnet

Press Save and the xDai network will be added to your wallet!

2. Set up uNFT

This part is pretty simple.
First, make sure you’re connected to the right network on your wallet.

Now go to https://unftwallet.xyz
Click on Add Contract in the bottom right-hand corner, choose POAP, and click ADD.

Now you should be able to see all of the POAPs you hold on xDai.
If they’re not there, try deleting and re-adding the POAP contract and refresh the page.
If you still can’t see them, confirm that you have the correct address connected & the xDai network is selected in your wallet.

You Can scroll right or left using the scroll bar under your POAP’s (if you have more than 4-5) to see them all.

3. Transfer your POAPs

Before you can transfer your POAPs, you’ll need some xDai (the currency of the xDai network).
To get some funds for your transfer, use this faucet: https://www.gimlu.com/faucet (VPN won’t work on this website)

You should receive enough for a few transfers.
Okay, now that you have some xDai, go ahead and select the POAPs you’d like to send.

(edit: I would suggest to first transfer 1 POAP, and if its successful and you can see it in the wallet you sent it to,
you can go on with Multi/Bulk Transfer)

A little window will pop up, enter the wallet address you want to send the POAP into and click on submit.

From here you just Have to approve 1 or 2 transactions (2 if this is your first time, 1 if you did it before),
you should have enough xDai to complete them.

You can use this link to see your POAP/s in your wallet: https://app.poap.xyz/scan/Your-Wallet-Address-here by adding the wallet address you want to check to the end of the link (instead of “Your-Wallet-Address-here”)
and copy paste it in your browser,

It should look like the example picture below: (with your wallet instead of mine)

To select multiple POAPs, click the multi-select button in the top right-hand corner of the POAP contract.

Click Transfer in the bottom right-hand corner once you’ve selected all the POAPs you’d like to send.
Now enter the Wallet Address you’d like to send the POAPs to and click on the confirmation check-box.

If this is your first transaction using uNFT, you’ll first need to approve (allow) the uNFT contract’s ability to transfer your ERC721 tokens.
Be careful approving contracts that you don’t know or trust, as they could (in theory) just steal the tokens you’re approving access to.
Click APPROVE, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

The next transaction will then send your POAPs to the wallet you specified.
In this case, I’m going to burn them by sending them to: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead.
Keep in mind, the more POAPs you want to send, the more it will cost you (although more xDai can always be collected from the faucet).

Click TRANSFER, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

And you’re done! Once the transaction is processed, the POAPs you selected should quickly arrive at the address you specified.
